Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1: Dibrugarh to Miao

   Fly to Dibrugarh and drive into Arunachal Pradesh to Miao, the small market town at the edge of Namdapha Tiger Reserve, arriving by evening.

2. Day 2: Miao to Deban

   Drive the forest road into the park core, arriving at Deban forest camp - the main base inside Namdapha - set beside the Noa-Dehing river with views of the Patkai range.

3. Day 3: Rainforest Trails

   Full day of guided walks on the Deban forest trails, listening for the whooping calls of hoolock gibbons overhead and scanning the canopy for great Indian hornbills and Blyth's kingfishers.

4. Day 4: Noa-Dehing River Walk

   Follow the Noa-Dehing river upstream through bamboo forest and rocky stream crossings - one of eastern India's most pristine river corridors - with chances of elephant and gaur sightings.

5. Day 5: Return to Miao & Departure

   Early morning bird walk around Deban, then drive back to Miao and onward to Dibrugarh for departure.
