Sikkim is a former Himalayan kingdom wedged between Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan, now India's smallest and most ecologically pristine state. Kangchenjunga — the world's third-highest peak — presides over a landscape of Buddhist monasteries, high-altitude lakes, and valleys carpeted with 600 species of orchid. The Tibetan cultural heartland of North Sikkim offers high passes and nomadic grazing valleys, while Gangtok's hillside cafés and monasteries keep the soul close to the mountains.
A glimpse of the landscapes you'll travel through.
Indian nationals do not need a permit to enter Sikkim but require a Protected Area Permit (PAP) for North Sikkim, Nathu La, and border areas — obtained easily in Gangtok. Foreign nationals need an Inner Line Permit. Our package handles all permits.
March to May is ideal for rhododendron blooms and clear mountain views; October to December brings post-monsoon clarity and the best photography conditions. North Sikkim roads may be closed November to March.
Bagdogra Airport (IXB) in West Bengal is the main gateway, 124 km from Gangtok (3.5 hours by road). The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP). Our tours include shared and private transfers from both.
