Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok
Check in to your hotel in Gangtok and spend the evening on MG Marg — Sikkim's pedestrian promenade lined with cafés, craft shops, and mountain views.
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake & Nathu La
Drive up to the glacial Tsomgo Lake at 12,400 ft and then to Nathu La, the ancient Silk Road mountain pass on the India-China border at 14,140 ft.
Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung
Drive north into Lachung Valley, passing the Naga Falls and Seven Sisters Waterfalls cascade along a dramatic gorge road.
Day 4: Yumthang Valley
Morning excursion into Yumthang Valley, a high-altitude meadow filled with rhododendrons, primulas, and hot springs, ringed by Himalayan peaks.
Day 5: Zero Point
Drive to Zero Point at 15,100 ft — the last Indian outpost before the Tibet border — a barren snowfield with sweeping views of glaciated peaks.
Day 6: Return to Gangtok & Departure
Drive back to Gangtok for a farewell lunch, pick up local cardamom and chhurpi cheese at the market, and transfer for departure.
