Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Imphal

   Arrive at Imphal airport, check in, and spend the afternoon at Kangla Fort — the historic citadel of the Meitei kingdom overlooking the Imphal River.

2. Day 2: Ima Keithel & Cultural Imphal

   Morning at Ima Keithel (Mothers' Market), run entirely by women for 500 years, followed by the Manipur State Museum and a Ras Lila dance performance in the evening.

3. Day 3: Loktak Lake & Keibul Lamjao

   Drive to Loktak Lake and take a boat across the phumdis — floating mats of vegetation that support entire communities — into Keibul Lamjao National Park in search of the sangai (brow-antlered deer).

4. Day 4: Sendra Island & Departure

   Morning visit to Sendra Island hilltop for panoramic lake views, then transfer to Imphal airport for departure.
